GAMES CONTRA
The main character is equipped with a rifle ammunition. a limited number
of players can also jump, move and fire in eight directions, as well as
move or jump simultaneously while firing. One hit from any enemy,

on, and a slow player can be fatal to his partner. The European release,
Gryzor, does not have a simultaneous 2-player mode. Instead, both
players take turns: whenever one player dies, the other Gets a turn.

GAMES CASTLEVANIA
The first console title, Castlevania, released for the NES in 1986 by
Konami, is a typical platform game in which the player takes the role of
Simon Belmont, a descendant of the Belmont clan of vampire hunters,
families. He travels to the Castle, Castlevania Devil and fought his way
through the fortress Dracula himself and destroying the Castle.
Belmont's main weapon is a whip called the 'Vampire Killer', while the
secondary weapons are powered by hearts, collected by attacking the wax
and kill monsters.
Secondary weapon available is the dagger, holy water, flying axes and
Boomerang-esque Flying Cross. Hidden items such as power-ups and food

Vampire Killer, released in 1986 for
the MSX computer, took a departure from traditional platform game
Castlevania, instead introducing an open form of gameplay.Non-linear

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, released in 1987, was elected to a
non-linear gameplay is more open than the Vampire Killer and disabled,
with some exclusive elements like the world map the player is free to

action role-playing game.

A big turning point in the series is game mechanics, Castlevania:
Symphony of the Night, which was released in 1997 for the Sony
Playstation and later for the Sega Saturn in 1998. Expanding on the open
style of gameplay which was previously used in Castlevania II: Simon's
Quest, symphonic night style game has been called the 'Metroidvania or
Castleroid' because its closeness with the side-scrolling game

Ayami Kojima's art was introduced in Symphony of the night, and has
appeared in several other titles. Years later, two Nintendo DS

the player demographic by not discouraging slightly more Nintendo DS
owners to put off by Kojima's art. Dawn of sorrow is the first game
to do this, and a second DS release portrait of ruin followed with the
same style.
